Kansas City, MO

If you’ve ever felt powerless against the threats of predators facing your children or children in your care, then this all-day program by two leading experts will show you exactly how to arm yourself with the knowledge to help keep them safe and strong in the face of danger.

This brand new, LIVE experience will be held in Kansas City, Missouri.

It will be taught by Dan Nash and Alison Phillips, two people who have worked tirelessly to build Missouri's anti-human trafficking program and have made Missouri a leader in the fight against trafficking and take predators out of circulation.

Dan and Alison have been teaching public and private enterprises how to better deal with the human trafficking problem, and routinely work with human trafficking survivors to bring them the help and services they need.

Unfortunately, predators are everywhere.

And they are persistent, finding new victims, often children and young adults, among all socio-economic classes, neighborhoods, schools and everywhere else kids are found.

Just take a look at a few of these frightening statistics ...

Do I have to attend the entire class?

You are welcome to attend all or a portion of the class. HOWEVER, we would suggest that if you do not intend to attend the full day of training that you select another class date when you can. This is a comprehensive training best used in its entirety. We want you to get the most out of this material and that is not possible if you come for only part of the day.

And the list of horrifying statistics goes on. And on.

It’s enough to make anyone who cares about children - which should be ALL of us - want to throw up our hands and cry.

BUT …

There is some very good news, too.

Proper education from real experts, with firsthand and extensive experience in investigations leading to the arrests of predators, and who know how to speak and LISTEN to survivors to help them find new paths (like Dan and Alison), can arm entire communities in such significant ways as to take power away from the abusers and work to eradicate this disgusting scourge on humanity

On May 22 in Kansas City, Missouri, here’s some of what you’ll learn:

On May 22 in Kansas City, Missouri, here’s some of what you’ll learn:

  • The one mistake almost all parents and caregivers make that you need to stop making immediately
  • How to identify trafficking victims and situations, including signs that your child may be impacted by trafficking … and what to do if they need help and where to find it.
  • That point where “regular kid problems” can become make or break moments ... and how you can help your child stay on the right path.
  • While we think of predators as lurking in the dark and slimy shadows of the Internet, you’ll come to understand just how many “open” places those predators truly are … and how close they are to your child.
  • Why misunderstanding what human trafficking really is gives you a false sense of security while making things even more dangerous for your child.
  • That you don’t need to move to the closest cave and shut every electronic down to better manage social media and the Internet. But that there’s a decision you need to make before you will be able to tread that line productively and safely for your child and family.
  • What to do if you just feel lost trying to understand the dangers out there and the repercussions from dealing with them.
  • How to use this age-old military technique to help you talk to your child in a more productive way so they don’t just say, “Yeah, mom, I already know that” in that dismissive teenage tone you hate! Or worse, tune you out completely.
  • The especially counterproductive emotion you need to avoid to make wise decisions as a parent or guardian … and how to avoid it.
  • How to better draw that very hard line between under-reactive and over-reactive.
  • In class exercises that will help you use the data in your child's phone to better understand the risks facing them.

And so much more. The above is just a sampling of what you’ll learn in a 6-hour training day that will educate, engage and inspire you in ways that will shock you.

Yes, the problem we face is shocking.

But you probably have no idea just how capable you are of helping to eradicate this crime that does immeasurable damage to our communities, our countries, and the world.

This program will change that.

This program is designed for any parent, grandparent, guardian or anyone else who has a child in their care AND who is ready to engage, truly be part of a special community experience in which you feel you have a part to play, and are going to show up.

This is a special, LIVE engagement and you will have an in person experience like no other that allows you to ask questions, engage with other community members and learn. We expect you to leave feeling ready to implement the material you have just learned.

HOWEVER ...

This is NOT for you if you think you know everything already and are not ready to engage and learn.

Spots are limited so THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. However, if you cannot attend due to illness and you let us know in advance of the class, we will provide you with a recorded version of the class (you will need a smartphone to access the class material).

Fear that remains dark and uneducated will rot, create stress and threaten our children. But fear that is addressed head on is empowering for ourselves and our children.

And that is what this program is engineered for.

We hope you will join us. Because it’s only together that we will win this fight.
